In quest of freedom, a hapless teenaged girl must first escape from her protective and domineering father and then overcome a family of abductors, liars and rapists. Zoya runs away from one hell and lands in another - the psychotic McFarlanes, where she finds abuse, love, care, hate, jealousy and betrayal.
The supposed abductor, Conan McFarlane holds her captive in a dungeon to satisfy his lust whereas his God-fearing brother, Liam becomes her 'knight in shining armour'.
Then there is their recluse father, Noel McFarlane who is hardly seen but frequently heard as he cracks jokes, barks insults and makes demands.
